The OBC Medical Pool believes in the importance of reducing health-related costs. Personify Health, Formerly Virgin Pulse, administers the OBC wellness initiative.
Personify Health rewards participants for making small improvements towards their health. Through coaching and incentives, participants can achieve personal goals one small step at a time. Personify Health uses measurements from key areas to determine health risks such as: Total Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, Height and Weight.
Current eligibility includes employees enrolled in a medical plan offered through the Ohio Benefits Cooperative Pool and their covered spouse. Personal health information is held as confidential. Wellness costs, including participant incentives, are built into the premiums through the Ohio Benefits Cooperative Pool medical plan offering.
